He was Born in Mogi das Cruzes/Sao Paulo/ Brazil and raised in Japan between 1992 and 2002, he trained Karate at the age of 12.

At the age of 17, was invited by Brazilian friends then had his first contact with Jiu Jitsu in 1999 when he decided to dedicate himself to BJJ.

After a few months of BJJ representing the team of Yuki Nakai, he was placed third in his first Japanese regional jiu-jitsu competition.

After approximately 1 year of BJJ, he had to take a break to dedicate only of studies in Japan.

In 2002, returned definitively to Brazil, he continued with Jiu-jitsu with Master “Pantera” in Suzano/Sp where he trained for a few months and kindly received the nickname “SAKURABA”.
Due to his studies he had to take a break from training.

Between 2004 and 2009 he trained with Professors Gamal Atta, Gustavo Adolfo and Augusto Ferrari in Mogi das Cruzes-Sp.

Already with his studies to become an airline pilot, he was only able to train 1 or 2 times a week, even training 1 or 2 times per month, even with just a few days available to train, he was awarded a blue belt by Professor Augusto Ferrari after just a few months.
Soon after graduating with a blue belt, he participated in his first championship in Brazil, being regional champion with seven fights and seven triangle submissions.

In 2009 he had to stop Jiu-Jitsu completely again to dedicate himself 100% and start his career as an airline pilot in the state of Amazonas.

In 2011 he returned to Mogi das Cruzes as an airline pilot.
Due to his great passion for Jiu-Jitsu he resumed training at the same gym (Olímpia) in Mogi das Cruzes with Professor Gamal and Professor Leandro Lo.

Unfortunately, due to his profession as an airline pilot, he was unable to maintain a sequence of training, however, in 2012 he received his Purple belt from his Professor Gamal Atta, the two of whom were companions at the same time in the Blue belt together.

Even with his routine as a pilot and family man, he always did his best to continue with Jiu Jitsu.
Already having Leandro Lo as a teacher and idol, he was graduated Brown Belt in 2013 and Black Belt in 2015 by his idol and multiple World Champion.

In 2019 due to his profession as a Pilot, he moved to Vietnam.

In 2020 he decided to be a pioneer of Jiu-Jitsu in the small Vietnamese city, Nha Trang.
He started giving free classes in the garage of his apartment for a few months, in the same year he officially started his journey as a Jiu Jitsu Teacher in the small Vietnamese town where he is now responsible for 2 gyms with classes for adults and children.

In 2023 he visited Brazil for 2 weeks and was proud to receive on his black belt two degrees from Professor Augusto Ferrari.
